Libano-Suisse participates in an honors ceremony for eight students from francophone insurance institutions

Eight outstanding students from various insurance institutions across the world were honored in a ceremony hosted by the AEIFFA (International Association of Francophone Insurance Training Establishments).  Certificates and awards were presented by lawyer Me. Nadi Jazzar, AEIFFA director for the past seven years and formerly ISSA (Higher Institute for Insurance Sciences) director for 12 years, AEIFFA Secretary-General Monique Bonnenfant, AEIFFA Vice-President Luc Mayaux, and ISSA Director Dr. Irma Majdalany. Libano-Suisse was represented by Mrs Mary Asmar, Mrs Reine El Riachi and Miss Joyce Salameh at the awards ceremony, which took place at Le Gabriel hotel, Achrafieh.

AEIFFA, which was founded in 1995 by lawyer Me. Charles Dahdah, chose Lebanon as the location for this international event to shine a light on the country’s francophone insurance market. In addition to the ceremony, during their trip the students visited Lebanese insurance companies, including Libano-Suisse, which has been a dedicated sponsor and supporter of ISSA activities for the past 28 years. This includes presenting annual awards named after the company’s founder, Pierre Sehnaoui, to outstanding students, and supporting ISSA cultural and entertainment activities for students at the beginning of each academic year.

During their visit to Libano-Suisse, the students learned about the insurance policy issuance process and technicalities as well as how the company leverages digital technology. The visit was followed by a lunch at Abdel Wahab restaurant in Sodeco, where the students tasted a variety of Lebanese cuisine.

Lebanon’s summer months will once again be filled with the sound of music, thanks to the Beirut Holidays festival. Libano-Suisse continues to be a committed supporter of this event, and the company’s sponsorship is now in its fifth consecutive year.

From Sunday July 29 to Friday August 10, Beirut Waterfront is all set to host a stellar line-up of local and regional favorites as well as international stars, including Elissa, Wael Kfoury, Nancy Ajram, Nassif Zeitoun, Michel Fadel, Gipsy Kings. Yet again, Beirut Holidays is expecting packed audiences from music lovers eager to watch their favorite stars and to experience spectacular live performances.

Libano-Suisse continues to lend its support to Beirut Holidays based on its strong belief in the role that culture plays in the vitality of the nation.
