On the occasion of Libano-Suisse 60th anniversary, Pierre Pharaon talks to Ta’min and Banking Magazine

On the occasion of Libano-Suisse 60th anniversary which coincides with the celebration of the 150th anniversary of Pharaon Group, a special interview and documentary were published in Ta’min and Banking magazine.

This publication featured a special discussion with Mr. Pierre Pharaon, the newly appointed Managing Director of Libano-Suisse Insurance, part of Pharaon Group of Companies. During this interview, Mr. Pierre Pharaon answered a series of questions in relation with his new responsibilities and plans, his professional experience, educational background and aspirations.

To celebrate Pharaon Group’s 150th anniversary, former Minister Michel Pharaon, President of the Group, organized a celebration in Nejmeh Square, Downtown Beirut along with the family and the Group companies. The founders Mikhael and Rafael Pharaon were born only a few steps away from this symbolic location, and it was also the home of “Pharaon and Chiha” bank.

The Artistic Public Bench, designed by Anastasia Nysten, was unveiled during the ceremony, followed by the exposition of the original First Independence Flag, designed by Henry Pharaon. This event full of culture and history concluded with the distribution of “150 Years… Entrepreneurship Spirit and Civic Engagement”, a book detailing the history of the family and Group in Trading, Finance, and Port activities since 1868.
