Administrative Officer (Compliance & Customer Affairs) (For Kuwaiti Nationals Only)

Overview:

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Administrative Officer to oversee regulatory compliance (Insurance Regulation Unit and Direct Investment Promotion Authority) and customer complaint resolution. The ideal candidate will ensure adherence to Kuwaiti insurance laws, manage communications with regulatory bodies, and handle customer complaints efficiently while working closely with senior management.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Regulatory Compliance:

  • Monitor, analyze, and track all laws, regulations, and circulars issued by:
    • Insurance Regulation Unit (IRU)
    • Direct Investment Promotion Authority (DIPA)
  • Prepare summaries of new regulations and discuss implications with senior management.
  • Ensure timely implementation of regulatory requirements and resolve compliance issues within deadlines.
  • Maintain an organized record of all compliance-related documents and correspondence.

 

Communication & Reporting:

  • Manage and respond to all official emails from regulatory authorities promptly and accurately.
  • Escalate critical regulatory updates to senior management and propose action plans.
  • Prepare periodic compliance reports and presentations for leadership review.

 

Customer Complaint Management:

  • Receive, document, and track customer complaints, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Coordinate with relevant departments to address complaints efficiently.
  • Maintain a log of complaints and follow up to ensure customer satisfaction.

 

Requirements:

  • Kuwaiti nationality only.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in compliance, administration, or customer service (preferably in insurance, banking, or financial services).
  • Strong knowledge of Kuwaiti insurance laws and investment regulations.
  • Fluent in English and Arabic (written and spoken).
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and email management.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
