“Libano-Suisse Insurance Academy” launches its first employees’ educational program

 

Under the directives of its Managing Director, Pierre Pharaon, the Human Resources Department of Libano-Suisse Company organized an educational course on “Marine Insurance” in cooperation with Lloyd’s agents in Beirut represented by is General Manager, Captain Jamil Al Sayegh.

 

As part of Libano-Suisse’s program for continuous education, 27 employees from various departments attended the Marine Insurance Course at the “Libano-Suisse Academy” from January 30th to March 9th, 2023, in collaboration with Messrs. Admiral Ship Management from Lloyd’s Agency Beirut.

 

This important course covered extensive ground, including topics such as general knowledge of marine insurance, an introduction to marine claims, ICC and other institute clauses, the adjustment of claims, and many more.

 

It was successfully given by course facilitators Messrs Admiral Ship Management – Lloyd’s Agency Beirut represented by: Captain Jamil Sayegh – Marine Consultant, Surveyor and Loss Adjuster; Mr. Roger Sayegh – Marine Manager, Surveyor and Loss Adjuster; Miss Christine Sayegh – Marine Business Development Manager, Surveyor and Loss Adjuster.

 

After the successful completion of the educational course, a closing ceremony took place for the distribution of certificates to the participants. The ceremony was attended by the Managing Director of Libano-Suisse, Mr. Pierre Pharaon, who delivered a speech in which he thanked the lecturers for their professionalism and the valuable content of the course, and congratulated the participants on their perseverance and success. A group of the company’s managers, employees and ASM management, Lloyd’s agents in Beirut, was also present. The ceremony was held at the Libano-Suisse headquarters and was followed by reception.
